Main Street In 0.6 miles turn left (E) onto Shiloh Road In 0.1 miles turn right (SE) onto E. Main Street In 0.4 miles turn left (NE) onto E. South 6th Street In 0.5 miles turn left (NE) onto Lonsdale Street In 0.1 miles look to your right Cemetery is located about 50' from the roads edge - in the woods Latitude N 34 40.607 x Longitude W 82 55.541 CHURCH/CEMETERY HISTORY: ------------------------ The land in this area was purchased by the Utica Mill Co in the late 1800's. It is felt that this cemetery had nothing to do with the company. It was reported that as of 2000, there was a large-heavy tombstone marking a grave. It's assumed that this marker belonged to Earle Patterson. In Apr-2003 this tombstone was missing. Thrown off to the side of a fenced in area, is a 8" x 12" broken piece of granite. This obviously is from a circa 1900 tombstone.
